Who?

I’m Carrie, a performance psychology specialist with a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in performance psychology. While my research has roots in high-risk sports like motocross, downhill mountain biking, and BMX, my work extends to anyone who performs under pressure—athletes, artists, business professionals, and beyond. Through Mind Anatomy, I help individuals and teams build resilience, focus, and mental clarity to thrive in high-stakes moments and recover with confidence.

My research has explored how people develop mental toughness, particularly through sibling dynamics and formative experiences, building on work like The Rocky Road to the Top. I’ve delivered mentoring, mindset workshops, and psychological skills training to support progression, recovery, and performance under pressure.

What sets my approach apart is the combination of science and lived experience. As a former trauma scrub nurse, I understand recovery and resilience on a deep level. I also work closely with coaches and leaders, tailoring support to sharpen decision-making, build self-confidence and awareness, and develop the mental tools to back your skills—whether you’re chasing podiums, standing on stage, or striving for personal breakthroughs.

Send me a message and I’ll get back to you for an informal chat.
